Tommy Raymond Eastep vanished during a family trip to Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma for the fourth of July holiday in 2013. His body was found almost 4 years later, just 3/4 of a mile from where his abandoned truck was discovered. What happened to Tommy Raymond Eastep?

Tommy was last seen at the Best Western in Eufaula by the general manager on July 7th, 2013. His silver 2003 Chevy Silverado was found on September 29th, 2013, abandoned in the woods, south of county roads 120 and 374 near Holdenville, by hunters. His ID, money, keys, and debit card were all still locked inside the truck. The area was thoroughly searched but nothing was found.

On April 8th, 2017, his remains were found by turkey hunters in a wooded, brushy area just 3/4ths of a mile from where his truck had been found. Tommy’s remains were not buried. His cause of death is undetermined due to the state of his remains. His leather bracelet with a charm, a unique silver necklace and his iPhone 5 are still missing.

Tommy was Native. He was married and had two children. His family has been frustrated with the lack of movement in the investigation. His mother has paid for a billboard near the Best Western he was last seen at asking for information in her son’s death.
