Regina Curtis

On May 12th, 2000 Regina Curtis, 16, was reported as a juvenile runaway in SW OKC.

June 22nd, 2000 a skull and other skeletal remains were found at Lake Draper in far SE OKC.

It took 16 years for Regina to be matched to the Jane Doe found at Lake Draper. 16 years that her family agonized over Regina’s whereabouts.

Regina’s family was notified of the DNA match on February 3rd, 2016. They had a memorial for her soon after.

Regina grew up mostly in the Clinton area but had recently moved to Oklahoma City. Regina’s many brothers and sisters and her father desperately want to know what happened to Regina. Her death is considered a homicide and there are currently no suspects.

Regina’s remains were found when a man in the 13200 block of SE 134 found a skull while he was mowing his lawn. Remains were found scattered across 25 acres.
