Jackie Wayne Urich, 38, was last seen at his family’s home in Westville, Oklahoma, on July 9, 1998.

The next day, authorities discovered his red 1987 Ford Ranger pickup truck wrecked in a rural area near Coleman Road in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. The truck had collided with a tree.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a young white male and two white females exiting the vehicle. According to the witness, they accepted a ride from a farmer to Weleetka, Oklahoma. Subsequently, the farmer, when interviewed by law enforcement, stated that the individuals he assisted did not match Jackie’s description. There is no indication that Jackie sold or lent his truck to anyone after his disappearance and there were no signs of foul play within the vehicle.

Jackie stands between 5’6″ and 5’10” and weighs 150 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and a Durham Construction baseball cap. Jackie had graying brown hair, blue eyes and a receding hairline with a graying brown beard and mustache. He has previously broken both arms and the bridge of his nose and has a small circular scar on his forehead.

According to Jackie’s family, he had become involved with questionable individuals prior to disappearance. They characterized him as a trusting person. To this day, his case remains unresolved.
