Fifty-five year old Imelda Thompson along with her sixty year old husband Tommy Thompson were found shot to death on April 4, 1986 inside their camper in the Guymon area. Initially it was believed that a man named James Benzoni, a known hitchhiker, was the killer, however charges against him were dropped in September 1986.
