Carla Dunbar

Carla Dunbar was critically burned during a robbery attack at a check cashing business where she was a clerk. The robbery and attack occurred on Dec 5, 1995.

Two robbers had poured gasoline into a money tray at Carla’s booth then lit the gasoline. Dunbar’s head neck and shoulders were burned, She sustained severe burns to 30% of her body. She was being treated at the Hillcrest Medical Center burn unit.

Carla was the mother of two young children who were 6 years old and 15 years old at the time of her passing.
