Thirty-six year old Zelda Mae Jordan-Fox was found murdered on North Boulder in Tulsa on March 7, 1985. She had been shot in the chest, and survived ten days in the hospital before succumbing to her injuries. Zelda was buried under the last name Jordan, and her death certificate lists the same last name, however the Tulsa Police Department lists Fox as her last name. It’s unknown where that last name came from. According to police, Zelda was a known sex worker in the Tulsa area at the time of her murder.
