Betty Jo Fillmore, was last seen in Frederick, Oklahoma by her family members on November 8th, 1988, at around 5:30 PM.

Six days later, on November 14th, Betty’s body was discovered inside her 1979 Pontiac on the outskirts of Fredrick. A passerby had noticed the burned car on November 9th but didn’t report it, assuming it was abandoned. However, when three men checking a cotton crop in the area found the car, they reported it. Only a portion of her skull and backbone were left after the fire. Betty was identified later by dental records.

Little else is known about Betty and her murder, but it still remains unsolved to this day.
