On June 7th, 2007, a county worker made a terrible discovery. He found the body of young Tommy Ray Coleman, Jr. who had been murdered and dump outside of Ponca City, Oklahoma. His case remains unsolved.

Tommy, 19, was last seen getting into a vehicle with four unknown suspects in Ponca City on June 5th, 2007. Two days later his body was found in a ditch on a rural road about 4 miles south of Ponca City. Cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma and trauma from an ax. it’s believed Tommy was killed elsewhere and dumped on the road. At one point there was an OSBI reward of $5,000 for information in his case. Tommy’s case is also featured in the OSBI Cold Cases playing cards.
