Shawn Beaty was murdered and her house set on fire in Bryan County, Oklahoma on January 31 2005 while her husband Jerry was away on a business trip. Her murder remains unsolved and open.

Shawn and Jerry’s home was located a few miles north of the Red River in Bryan County. Police determined the cause of the fire was arson. Cause of death for Shawn was found to be smoke inhalation. A private investigator hired by the family found evidence that Shawn was brutally murdered before the home was set on fire. In the months and years after her murder Jerry offered a $25,000 reward for information in Shawn’s death but the case remains unsolved.
