Ruby Florence Biggs was 75-years-old when she was murdered in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on May 5th, 1995.

Ruby, who went by Doskey, was found stabbed on the floor by her husband Luther when he came home at lunch. He called the police at 12:40pm. Their house was located 5 miles east of the Beeline.

Ruby was born Ruby Florence Martin on April 10th, 1919 in Mounds, Oklahoma. She is of the Creek Nation. She was a homemaker and married to Luther until her murder. They had two daughters and one son.

Police later reported that people in the area of Ruby’s home called about suspicious activity in the area and are still looking for information from anyone at that time who may have seen something. OSBI was involved in analyzing blood evidence but it’s not known if it brought anything to light.
