Michael Charles Simon was found murdered in Sutton Wilderness Park in Norman, Oklahoma on December 4th, 1987. His case remains unsolved.

On December 4th a bicyclist found Michael’s body in Sutton Wilderness Park at 2:30 pm. It was determined that Michael died from a gunshot wound to the head with a small caliber weapon though no weapon was found in the area. A witness told detectives that he saw Michael talking with someone shortly before he was killed but he only saw the man from behind. No motive has been found in Michael’s murder and there were so signs of robbery.

38-year-old Michael was born August 23rd, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was unmarried and lived with his parents. Michael had served in the Army during the Vietnam War from September 25th, 1969 to April 26th, 1971. He did not take drugs and rarely drank. Micheal did not have a criminal record and had no known enemies. He wasn’t employed at the time. Michael’s parents passed away without ever knowing justice for their son.
