Thirty-eight year old Lloyd H. McKelvey was shot to death in his Oklahoma City home on September 30, 1945. He had apparently been getting ready to leave his house when he was shot with a .38 caliber weapon. His wife and son found his fully clothed body in the bathtub of their home, his wallet was found in the hall with $6,000 in cash reportedly missing.
