Lisa Ann Henderson, 17 years old, left home June 1st, 1979 for a potential modeling job and lunch with a friend. She never came home.

Lisa was a senior in high school and living in Tulsa, Ok with her parents when she set off to see if a modeling gig would work out. She left the house wearing a long, white, flowered dress and heels. She was also carrying 2 garment bags, thought to be full of outfits for the potential modeling job.

Witnesses state seeing her leave in a 76-77 maroon Chevy Monte Carlo with missing hubcaps and extensive damage to the driver’s side. The man driving the car, shown in a sketch below, was described as a very pale white male in his 40’s with thinning dark hair.

On June 11th, 1979, Lisa’s body was found in Wagoner County, in a ditch, about 27 miles from home, S of Hwy 51 on Old Porter Road. The autopsy showed cause of death as gun shot wounds. Her body was also set on fire, in what investigators think was a way to conceal evidence.

There is a $15,000 reward for information leading to the murderer. Please call Crimestoppers at 918-596-2677 with any information about Lisa’s murder.
