Thirty-one year old Holly Bernice Vanauken was found murdered in Oklahoma City on April 7, 2014. She was thirty-one years old.
After one of Holly’s friends hadn’t heard from her in a few days, and had been unable to get into contact with her, they went to Holly’s home on Southwest 60th. What they found was Holly dead inside her home. Police were called to the residence around 1:40pm.
The month prior to Holly’s murder, she had apparently been the victim of a break-in. She had come home on March 10th and found her door kicked in and many items of value missing. Its unknown if this incident and her murder are related. The medical examiner would later determine that Holly had died via multiple stab wounds to her neck and chest.
Neighbors would say that Holly was quiet and mostly kept to herself- she had only lived in the neighborhood for about a year.
There is little known about the circumstances of Holly’s murder, but she was a mother of two when she died. Her children deserve to know who took their mother from them.
