David Lamar Atchison II was found at 455 am in the street near Southwest 32nd and Shartel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by police on this day in 2017. He’d been shot in the head and dumped. He was murdered just two weeks before his 39th birthday. No one has been arrested in his murder.

David was born on January 22nd, 1978 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was active in sports throughout his high school career. David served in both the Marines and the Army and did three tours which led to a combat injury. He served with distinction. David held degrees in both engineering and criminal justice. He loved to fish and participated in many pro tours including Bass Masters and Redman Tournament. David was extremely close to his family and they miss him every single day.
