Sixty-two year old Bessie Virginia Sanders was found murdered in her Tulsa apartment on February 17, 1976. Bessie had been strangled with an electrical cord, but there were no signs of a significant struggle, she had not been sexually assaulted and there wasn’t anything missing from her apartment.
