Angela “Sam” Maynahonah Rodriguez was found murdered in Carter County on March 29th, 2012. She was forty years old.

The last known place where Angela, who was known as Sam, was seen was at Glen’s Lounge in Lawton. She would later be found under a bridge and in heavy brush some sixty miles away from Lawton in Fox. She had been missing for approximately two weeks. Her cause of death has not been made public.

Sam’s family continues to hold vigils, begging for more publicity for her case in order to possibly drum up more leads. So far, their efforts have been unsuccessful.

The last time Sam saw her mother, she had mentioned possibly moving back to Oklahoma City. Unfortunately she never got that chance. Her family misses her deeply, and just wants answers for who took Sam away from them. Her mother would pass away not knowing who killed her daughter.
