William Burleson Jr was found murdered in his home in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 31, 1988. Little to no information is known about the murder of William, however, we do know 26-year-old Oklahoma City woman was sentenced to serve five years in prison for her role in his death. She was ordered to serve five years of a 10-year sentence for first-degree manslaughter.

Additionally, an unknown 28 year old man with an unknown mental health condition was suspected of using a metal base of a table lamp to bludgeon William to death. It is unknown if this man was ever charged with a crime related to Williams death.
