Britney Tiger, a mother of three, disappeared on February 11, 2018 from Ada, Oklahoma. On the night she vanished, her children were with their fathers, and according to William, her new husband of 5 months, they went to bed early. He later told police that he woke up around 3:30 a.m. he found Britney missing. She was never seen or heard from again.

A week later, on February 18, 2018, Britney’s sister reported her missing after failing to reach her. When police conducted a welfare check at the couple’s home, William claimed that Britney must have left in the middle of the night, taking only a few hoodies and a bag of makeup. He did not report her missing, saying it wasn’t unusual for her to disappear for weeks at a time. However, Britney’s sisters strongly disputed this, stating that she always stayed in touch and had never left her children for an extended period.

Britney’s family also found William’s behavior concerning. Before her disappearance, there were no apparent red flags in their relationship, yet he showed little urgency in searching for her. 

Tragically, a month later on March 16th, 2018 Britney’s body was found in a wooded area 15 miles from her home. Due to decomposition, the autopsy could not determine the cause or manner of death. Initially, detectives investigated it as a homicide, but about a year later, stated there was no current evidence of a crime.

In March 2020, Bodhi Chance Starns was charged with unlawful disposal of a deceased corpse in connection with Britney’s case. Investigators have not disclosed his relationship to Britney, and the case remains under investigation.
