The remains of a white male were found in Sulphur on March 8th, 1986. The body was found by a park ranger in Chickasha National Park in an area that used to be a golf course. It was in close proximity to a state veteran’s center, who advised there was an individual who had been missing from the center since 1972. This individual’s name was William A. Martin who was known to have gotten out of the center and get lost prior. It it unknown if the remains found are those of Martin. The remains were likely those of a man between 50 and 99, and had been dead between twenty years.
