On April 16th, 1981 the skeletal remains of a woman were found by a high school student looking for snakes on the old dairy farmland of Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. She remains unidentified to this day. Norman Jane Doe 1981

It is estimated the woman was 30 to 50 years of age. She was white + Native ancestry and it’s believed she had been dead for 5 years, likely killed in 1976. She is estimated to be 5’4-5’7 and 120 lbs with a slender build. She was likely right-handed. There were signs of previous pregnancies. It was determined that cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. She is listed as # UP4898 in NaMus and there are currently eleven exclusions for her.
