Leonard Dale Hancock, Jr. was found shot to death on September 9th, 1993 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. No one has ever been charged in his murder.

At 2:53am on September 9th the resident of 503 E. Zion was woken up by a knock on the the door. She didn’t find anyone when she investigated but she did notice a car parked on the street. The brake lights were on. She decided to call the police. When they arrived they found Leonard, slumped over the steering wheel, shot three times in the head and neck. There were no signs of robbery. Leonard had recently served a suspended sentence on a drug charge and police speculated it could be related. Leonard was supposed to be on a date that night and his family says he was employed and planning for college at the time. He was 20-years-old.
