40 year old Kim Dambreville was found dead in a Comanche County field on July 9th, 1997 after an anonymous phone call led authorities to her body. She was naked and her throat had been slit. Nearby her body, a dress and a swimsuit were found. About two weeks after she was found, her purse was found in an abandoned trailer located near SW 20th and E Avenue in Lawton.

It is believed that Kim was killed in a different location than where her body was found, though authorities thought it was unlikely to have been where her purse was found as there was no blood evidence or anything else to show that Kim had actually been in the trailer.
