Sixteen year old Jamie Michelle Mcchurin went missing from Muskogee on March 18, 1997. She has not been seen or heard from since.

At the time of her disappearance, Jamie was raising her one year old daughter and working at the local Tastee Freez. On March 18th, she had just received her first paycheck, and talked to coworkers about the possibility of buying a car. Jamie then took a taxi to a friend’s house that was on the corner of F and Elmira Streets. Her friend’s mother reports seeing Jamie sitting alone on the front porch of the home when she was last seen. The mother had gone inside for a few moments before returning to the porch to find Jamie gone.

What she did see was a large, four doored, dark colored sedan turning the corner. Its unknown if the vehicle has anything to do with Jamie’s disappearance, but the vehicle and its driver has never been identified. Yesterday, Jamie would have turned 41, and someone out there has to know something. This young mother didn’t disappear into thin air.

Jamie was 5 foot 1 inches tall and approximately 133 pounds when she disappeared. She was Caucasian with brown hair and eyes. She also had the tattoo of a heart on her right hand.
