Isaac Charles “Mack” Watkins was found murdered east of Sallisaw on October 29, 1971. He was found in a ditch on the north side of I-40, he had been stabbed 24 times. The last time Mack had been seen, he had been returning to Seminole from the Little Rock, Arkansas area. He was last seen in Russellville, Arkansas with a male and female hitchhiker.
