Florence Martha Groene was shot on September 9th, 2018 and died on September 11th, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Neighbors reported they heard two gunshots around 10:30pm on the 400 block of NW 55th Street. They went to help and found Florence, shot and bleeding profusely. Florence was taken to a hospital in OKC and died on September 11th. Investigators say the shots were fired from outside the home.

Florence was born on March 2nd, 1993 and was 25 at the time of her murder. She left behind three children. Her brother, Terrill Smith, is offering a $5,000 reward. Florence and Terrill and another brother had recently reconnected after being separated as children.
