Debra Diane Bowser, 26-year-old mother, was murdered on March 8th, 1982 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Her case has been unsolved for 42 years now. There are no known suspects in her case.

At 12:30 am a truck driver entered the Best Western just off I-35. As he entered the lobby he saw blood and went to a nearby motel to call the police. Debra was found in an office east of the registration desk. She was fully clothed and there were no signs of sexual assault. Debra had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. There were no bruises or defensive wounds present and there was no sign of a struggle. Money was missing from the register but how much is not publicly known. All guests were interviewed by the police and all car tags were run. No one had checked in since 11 pm. Despite searches of the hotel and grounds no murder weapon was found.
