David Allen Crabtree vanished on April 8, 2000, when he was thirteen years old.
David had recently started getting into trouble and associating with a rough crowd. On April 5, 2000, he ran away from home, and was found intoxicated by the police and brought back home. Concerned for his well-being, David’s mother took him to a juvenile center, but he was quickly discharged after being caught drinking again.
On the evening of April 8, David told his parents and sister that he was going to bed and said “I love you” to them. Later that night, he crawled out of his bedroom window and has not been seen or heard from since. Despite his history of running away, David always returned home or was seen with his friends within a few days. Even law enforcement believes that he would have contacted his brother by now if he could.
In 2017, David was officially listed as missing rather than a runaway.
At the time of his disappearance, David was 5’5” tall and weighed 125 pounds. He is a Native American male with brown eyes and dark brown hair, and he has a scar on his right eyebrow and a scar on the top center of his head.
It has been 24 years since David left home. If you have any information about David Allen Crabtree’s disappearance, please contact the Locust Grove Police Department at (918) 479-8121. You can also submit a tip anonymously to your local law enforcement agency.
