Clifford Eli Moss, known as Eli, was twenty-five years old when he disappeared near Wyandotte on June 30, 2017. At the time Eli went missing, he was wearing only a pair of shorts, and a pair of sandals. All indications are that he hadn’t planned to be gone long.

Except he didn’t return at all.

A human skull would be found in July 2017 by a property owner in Ottawa County. Sources state that a visitor to the property found the skull in the driveway of the property, prompting them to call police.  A later search would turn up more remains, though a complete skeleton was never found. Even more odd was the fact that with the remains that were found, there seemed to be no discernible trauma to indicate cause of death.

In September 2017, these remains would be identified as being those of Eli Moss. What happened to Eli when he went out for a walk that summer day, and what killed him, remains a mystery.
