Clara Sophia O’Connor had lived in the area for several years before the attack. It was concluded that nothing was missing from her home when she was found, even though her wallet and purse were in plain sight.

Clara S. O’Connor was an 86-year-old widow who lived alone in The Village, one of the safest areas of metropolitan Oklahoma City.

But on Dec. 18, 1990, she was killed at home and found lying in her bedroom by neighbors the next day. Police had no suspects then and still have not solved the case.
