41-year-old Carol Susan Hurtubise was murdered at the door of her home on October 17th, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her case remains open and unsolved.

On that day Carol’s 18-year-old son answered the door to the two young males at her home at 506 E. 59th Place North. The two youths demanded money. Carol walked to the door to ask what was happening and the two males shot Carol once in the throat. The two young men were described as black male teens. The first suspect was described as 5’5 and 135 lbs wearing a red and white striped shirt, shorts and a hat. The second suspect was described as 5’9 and 120 lbs wearing a black t-shirt and blue overalls.

Carol, mother of 7 children, was a school bus driver for Tulsa Public Schools. She was born February 22nd, 1953 in Leominster, Massachusetts as Carol Susan Bilodeau. Carol went on to marry Alfred Norman Hurtubise who passed away in 2022.
