Beulah K Hodges and Pamela Jean LeClair were found dead outside two homes in a quiet neighborhood in Enid on July 18, 2007. Two people called 911 to report the bodies. Hodges’ body was lying outside the front of the duplex she shared with the other victim, whose body was found in the driveway near the house next door.
Police said the women suffered blunt force trauma, but would not say exactly where the women were hit.
Officials were alerted to the bodies around 8:30 a.m. when two people called 911. One 911 caller said the woman appeared to have been hit in the head. Investigators haven’t said how long the women appeared to be dead, but are seeking information about events near the home between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
So far, no arrests have been made in the case. Holtzclaw said investigators continue to interview persons of interest. The deaths are Enid’s second and third homicides of the year.
