Vonda Lashell Williams

Vonda Lashell Ashton Williams, pictured here at 18, was last seen around 10 pm on June 10th, 1993 after leaving a bingo hall in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

On June 11th, 1993, a body was found in a burning car off of the I-40 exit in the Tiger Mountain area, on a dirt road. She was later identified through photos and the gold-capped front teeth found in the backseat of her vehicle. She was likely killed sometime between 11 pm and 4 am in the backseat of her 1965 Chevy.

Vonda was involved with survival sex work and had been arrested for it previously. She was the mother of two children and from the Okmulgee area, though she was born in Bowie, Texas on June 12th, 1954. She was 39-years-old when she was killed.

Tiger Mountain has been a notorious crime magnet over the years. Many murders and body dumps have happened in the area.
