Seventy- one year old Thomas Martin went missing from the Tulsa area sometime between June 27th and 28th, 2010.
The last time anyone is known to have spoken to Thomas was on June 27th, when his son spoke to him on the phone. When his father didn’t answer the phone the next day, and it appeared his answering machine had been turned off, Christopher went by his father’s home, only to discover he wasn’t there, even though Thomas’ car was located at the residence. When Christopher saw that his father’s medications had been left behind and that there appeared to be blood inside of his father’s car, he reported Thomas missing. Thomas’ Pikepass is known to have been activated on June 27th at 1:30 pm and then again June 28th at 2:30 am. Both times the Pikepass was used were at Coweta Entry Plaza.
In January 2013, two hikers found skeletal remains along the Arkansas River- the remains were found approximately six blocks from where Thomas’ home was. The remains would later be identified as being those of Thomas Martin. He had been killed by a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
