1977 is the year that Teresa Gail Cupps was last heard from or seen. She was nineteen years old.
Prior to her disappearance, Teresa was living at a juvenile shelter in Tecumseh known as Girlstown. She had been sent there after being convicted of grand larceny in 1975. According to reports, once a resident would turn 18, the shelter would completely discharge them or simply drop them off in Oklahoma City. Some sources have Teresa as living with a man named Bobby Boyd in Oklahoma City during the time she disappeared.
In 1977, Teresa stopped reporting to her parole officer, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. In the past Teresa had issues with drugs. After the death of their mother in 2004, Teresa’s sister filed a missing persons report on her. All public records, other than the 2004 missing person’s report, end for Teresa in 1975.
Teresa is described as being 5 foot to 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, and having brown hair and eyes. She has two tattoos, one on her right ankle and one on her lower right leg.
