Sheri Lee Parsons Olson was found murdered in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 19th, 2012. She was 37 years old. Her case remains open and unsolved.

Sheri was due to testify in the upcoming murder trial of Jose Villanueva, who was charged in the beating and shooting of Charles Tyson on his front porch. The murder occurred at 24th and J Ave. Sheri’s mobile home was located at 28th and J Ave. Sheri’s body was found inside her home. She was shot several times and her throat had been cut. Law enforcement says it’s unknown if Sheri’s murder is connected to her testifying in the murder trial.

Sheri was born on November 5th, 1974 in Crossville, Tennessee. She moved to Lawton at age 15 and attended Central High School. Sheri and her husband Monty were married on May 5th, 2000. They had five children. Sheri loved to write poetry and was a published writer. She was a devoted “soccer mom” who loved to watch her kids play.
