Sandra Lou Holland Blackwell (pictured here at 18) was 39 when she was tragically murdered during a robbery at the Savanna Superette in Savanna, Oklahoma, on January 15th, 1992. At the time of her death, Sandra was working at the store, located about 8 miles south of McAlester on US 69. The incident likely occurred around 4:45 am, and she was discovered in the backroom around 5:00 am, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the back of the head. An unknown amount of money was stolen.
