Roy Hill was murdered on November 6th, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and no one has ever been charged in his murder. He was 79-years-old. Roy was a veteran of WWI.

At 4:20pm on November 6th, Roy was found in his home at 2611 E. 29th Street North. He was sitting in a chair and it appeared he had a neck wound. Cause of death was discovered to be a stab wound to the neck. Roy was last seen in his home on November 4th, 1971 by his sister around 5pm. Neighbors had not seen him in a few days and checked on him and saw him sitting in the chair but not responding to them. That’s when they called the police.

Roy Hill was born February 25th, 1892 in Arkansas, where it seems the majority of his family resided. He was black. Roy enlisted in the military on January 15th, 1919 and fought in WWI. He was married to Gertrude around 1920 at age 27. They had no children. Roy worked in the railroad industry after returning from war.
