Roberto Antonio Frazier was murdered on August 7th, 1994 in Norman, Oklahoma at his home at 700 E. Brooks Street around 4 pm. He was shot in the head.

Roberto, who went by Berto, was a big teddy bear. The father of three children and Choctaw Native grew up in the Medicine Park area. He is still missed by his family.

Police believe that drugs were involved in Berto’s murder, likely cannabis. He was last seen by friends on August 5th. His wife and children were out of town at the time of the murder. Witnesses saw two men at his house that day – a 35-year-old man, 6’0, 165 lbs with neatly trimmed collar-length hair and a neat beard, the other was a 32-year-old Native or Latinx man, 5’8, dark brown collar-length hair and unshaven wearing a light-colored t-shirt and grass-stained black tennis shoes. Police have stated they have suspects but lack of evidence is keeping them from charging the men.

Please call the Norman PD at 405-321-1600 with any information on the murder of father Roberto Antonio Frazier.
