On May 27,1999, at around 10:50-10:55 PM, Reginald Leonard Young called 911 and advised that he was driving a borrowed vehicle west on 27th Street North from Cincinnati. He advised that at approximately 100 E. 27th Street North he heard approximately 10 gunshots. He advised that he was hit in the back. Results of the injury caused Young to veer off the roadway and into the house at 112 E. 27th Street North. This incident left Young paralyzed from the waist down. On May 10, 2003, nearly 4 years later, Reginald died due to complications from the shooting.
