Montyana Abrion Richardson and her cousin Frederick Dion Richardson, Jr. were both shot on May 26th, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Montyana would die on May 29th due to her injuries but Frederick survived his wounds.

On May 26th police were called to Britton Courtyard Apartments located at 7000 W. Britton Road on a shots fired call. There they found the cousins both shot. Circumstances beyond that are unknown.

Montyana was born on June 7th, 1993. She died just a week before her birthday. She attended Putnam North High School. She preferred to be called Monty. She had 6 siblings. She was Native but her tribe is unknown.
