
Melissa Ann Darling has been missing from Grant, Oklahoma since June 10th, 2011, just six days before her 34th birthday. She was last seen leaving the Choctaw Casino and Resort at 1:30am with a white male, following him in her vehicle, a black Ford SportTrac. She was 33-years-old.
At 1:50am, Melissa placed a call from her cell phone to a person who lived just one mile from the casino. After that call her cell phone went dark. Her vehicle was found the next day, abandoned near the Hugo Lake, Oklahoma area. It was locked and had two flat tires. Many searches were conducted in search of Melissa, including cadaver dogs and grid searches. Det. Sgt. Gilmore of Sulphur Springs has been working her case since the beginning and hasn’t given up the search.
Melissa was born in Hopkins, Texas on June 16th, 1977. She grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was divorced in 2007 and had two children. Her maiden name was McVay. Melissa had a history of addiction. She was 5’8 and 190lbs with blonde hair and green eyes. She was wearing a blue and white baseball tee and jeans with a watch on her left wrist.
