On December 4th, 2012 thirty year old Maegin Gravitt was murdered.
Maegin had been visiting a friend at the Drover’s Inn, located in Oklahoma City. Police were called to the scene at approximately 9:15 pm, after a witness heard shots being fired. They found Maegin in room 215. She was transported to the hospital, but ultimately died of her injuries.
While two other rooms were also hit by gunfire, Maegin was the only one struck by any bullets. Witnesses stated that the assailant left the scene in a white Oldsmobile going south on I-35.
