On December 4th, 2012 thirty year old Maegin Gravitt was murdered.

Maegin had been visiting a friend at the Drover’s Inn, located in Oklahoma City. Police were called to the scene at approximately 9:15 pm, after a witness heard shots being fired. They found Maegin in room 215. She was transported to the hospital, but ultimately died of her injuries.

While two other rooms were also hit by gunfire, Maegin was the only one struck by any bullets. Witnesses stated that the assailant left the scene in a white Oldsmobile going south on I-35. It is believed that Maegin was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and was a helpless victim of a drive by shooting.

To date, no one has been arrested in the murder of Maegin Gravitt. While Meagin’s murder marked the city’s 91st of 2012- to her family, she’s more than just a number. She was a young mother, a sister and a daughter. They want justice for their loved one.
