Mary Ruth Alexander-Motte was found murdered on September 4th, 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma in her home at 5119 N. Frankfort. She was 48-years-old.

Mary was discovered on the floor of her home. She had five stab wounds and she’d been beaten about the head. She had a bloody pillowcase over her head. Cause of death was actually from smoke inhalation despite the stab wounds. There was a fire set after she was attacked. The back door was unlocked and there was no sign of forced entry. Three rooms showed signs of a struggle. Nothing was stolen so robbery has been ruled out. Mary had lived in that house for 25 years and was beloved by all in the neighborhood. No one could think of a reason why anyone would want Mary dead.
