71-year-old Yarkin S. Harley was living in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his daughter when he was violently murdered. On June 23rd, 1979, Yarkin’s body was found lying between two cars at 108 E. Archer at 1130. He’d been stabbed once in the neck and viciously beaten about his head. It was his 72nd birthday.

Yarkin grew up in the Eufaula area. He was Muscogee Creek Nation. Yarkin served in the Army during World War II. He was married to Mattie Francis. He was a father to 4 daughters and a grandfather. He was kind and generous.
