Veda Woodson

Thirty-eight year old Veda Woodson was heading to her Tulsa area home from work on July 26, 1973. It is believed that she had car trouble not far from home, and after her car coasted to the bottom of a nearby hill, she was attacked by an unknown assailant. The car was found abandoned by a police officer doing his rounds, and Veda’s body was found nearby in a field. She had been sexually assaulted and murdered. As of 2019 there is a dna link in the case but they are still working to gather more evidence in the case.
