On November 10, 1992, Shevrick Winston, 24, was found dead in his home at 4819 N. Xanthus Ave in north Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shevrick, who was not originally from Oklahoma, lived at the residence with his girlfriend and her mother. A family member discovered his body in the rear bedroom at approximately 5:45 PM. He had been shot near the front door and chased through the house.

Earlier that day, Shevrick had been sentenced to 36 months in prison for his involvement in a Los Angeles-to-Tulsa cocaine distribution network. He had testified about his role in the network, making him a target as a “snitch.” Keith Blackwell, 23, and Brian Gaston, 24, who were among the six individuals arrested in connection with the drug operation, and were also questioned regarding Shevrick’s murder.

The photo added here is from the front of the home he was found in. We have not been able to locate a photo of Shevrick to date.
