Richard Don Latty was found shot outside his condo in the 2900 block of East 51st St in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 4th, 2005. He died the next day from his injuries.

Richard was shot twice at about 11:30 pm outside his condo. According to newspapers, at the time it was alleged that his girlfriend’s son was involved with drugs and the killer was actually looking for him. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20’s, about 6’0 and 130 lbs. He had dark hair with a slender build. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a black baseball cap. A light blue American made car with damage on the right side was seen with the killer and it was being driven by an unknown person.

Richard, who was 56 at the time, was born September 25th, 1948 in Tulsa. He attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and served in the US Army from July 18th, 1969 to January 18th, 1972. He was a financial planner and the owner of Annuities Plus. Richard enjoyed acting and was a member in the Chancel Choir. He was a proud lifelong Tulsan.
