Daniel Glen Johnson

44-year-old Daniel Glen Johnson had only worked at the Mini-Mart on 1602 E. Maine St. in Enid, Oklahoma for two months by July 14th, 2010. The gentle-hearted man had moved in with his parents recently to help take care of them as they aged.

At 3:15 am a 911 call came in about a crime at the Mini-Mart. When police arrived they found Daniel Johnson, shot and unresponsive. He later died from those gunshot wounds. The Mini-Mart was located on the east side of town and wasn’t known for crime. It was in a residential area. Daniel worked the overnight shift and his customers were fond of him. He was friendly and outgoing with his customers though in his personal life he kept to himself.

Surveillance caught the suspect on camera. He is described as a black or Latino man. He was wearing an orange hoodie with “State” on it with an “O” overlay, indicating an OSU hoodie. He was wearing dark jeans and gloves. He was also carrying a white bag.
