Remains of a female were found partially buried near Lake Thunderbird on August 31, 2008. She would become known as Thunderbird Jane Doe. In 2022 Thunderbird Jane Doe was found to be Angela Marie Mason, who had gone missing from the Moore area in the spring of 2008. How she died is still unknown.
